我们本单元探究的是围绕“我们身处什么时空”这一超学科主题展开的。我们围绕中心思想“古代文明连接着过去与现在的社会”展开探究。我们通过了解中国古代文明发展的成果,归纳总结文明的要素,并且从不同文明要素的角度,去探究了解中国古代文明。
Our inquiry this unit follows the trans-disciplinary theme of "Where we are in place and time" , the central idea being ancient culture connects the global community in the past and present. The students achieve this by understanding the achievements of the development of ancient Chinese civilization, summarizing the elements of civilization, and exploring and understanding ancient Chinese civilization from the perspective of different elements of civilization.
第一条探究线索为古代文明的创造,同学们通过梳理世界各个文明的发展时间,了解文明的创造,并且通过了解中国五千年文明的实证——良渚文明,探究古代文明的构成要素。
The first line of inquiry is “The creation of ancient civilization”.In the process of exploration, students create timelines of various civilizations around the world, understand the creation of civilization, and explore the constituent elements of ancient civilization by understanding the story of China's 5000 year civilization.
第二条探究线索为古代文明的发展,我们从文明要素入手,梳理中国历史时间轴,关注不同历史时期发展的文明成果与主要矛盾,了解史实,思考国家与社会形态是如何被历史塑造的。
The second line of inquiry is “The development of ancient civilization”. We started from the elements of ancient civilization, we organize the timeline of Chinese history, paying attention to the achievements and main contradictions of civilization development in different historical periods, and understand historical facts. They think about how the state and social form have been shaped by history.
我们还对14-20世纪的欧洲历史进行了探究,我们从文艺复兴到英国资产阶级革命与法国大革命,再到工业革命。同学们了解了欧洲近现代文明的崛起历程,并且将这段历史与同时期中国历史进行对照分析,加深对中国近代史的理解。
We also explored European history from the 14th to 20th centuries, from the Renaissance to the French Revolution, and then to the Industrial Revolution. The students have gained an understanding of the rise of modern European civilization and compared this period of history with contemporary Chinese history, deepening their understanding of modern Chinese history.
第三条探究线索为古代文明对全球社区的影响,我们通过梳理历史材料,我们发现在相似历史情境下的规律和联系,我们提供思考和理解的思维脚手架,通过概念性视角来思考“古代文明”、“历史变化”以及“过去”和“现在”的联系,激发我们正视历史,以史为鉴,开创未来的信心。
The third line of inquiry is “ancient civilization impact on global community”.By sorting out historical materials, the students discover patterns and connections in similar historical contexts, providing a thinking scaffold for thinking and understanding. Through a conceptual perspective, we consider "ancient civilization", "historical changes", and the connection between "past" and "present", inspiring us to face history, learn from it, and create confidence in the future.
在学习的过程中,将焦点从覆盖知识和技能到使用知识和技能以理解概念,当学生产生个人理解的时候,会在脑海中将事实性知识和技能与已有的相关概念进行处理加工,在这个过程中,每一个学生的思维火花都是被鼓励与重视的,最终呈现特别的见解与思考。
In the process of learning, the course will shift the focus from covering knowledge and skills to using knowledge and skills to understand concepts. When students construct understanding, they will process factual knowledge and skills with existing relevant concepts in their minds. In this process, each student's thinking spark is encouraged and valued, ultimately presenting special insights and thinking.
