The Soviet educator Васи́лий Алекса́ндрович Сухомли́нский once compared school and home to two "educators". He believed that school and home "should not only act in unison and make the same demands on children, but also share the same vision and beliefs. This led to the concept of "home-school cooperation".
In the JPED, school and parents share a common educational philosophy and values. In the face of the changing needs of the future world, the parents knew that only with personalized learning style and interdisciplinary academic curriculum design can we cultivate talents with global thinking, sound personality, excellent quality and comprehensive ability.
School and family are an education community, and both sides need to coordinate and complement each other in order to provide a better educational environment for children. By integrating schools and families, and maintaining communication between them, teachers will no longer be isolated, and schools will no longer be separated from society, thus the sparks of education can be generated through the current of education, and the power of education can be fully unleashed.
we invited parents into the school and classroom to give them a detailed introduction to the JPED curriculum, teaching methods, summer schedule, and future teaching goals. Through communication, we promote parents' understanding of the school's educational philosophy and approach, and jointly explore the future path of home-school co-education.
JPED’s unique education and teaching system, whichinsists on whole person education, deep learning, problem oriented learning, interdisciplinary learning, and flipped learning through PBL, is not only in line with the future direction of education, but also capable of cultivating future talents who can demonstrate human strengths and make good use of various tools to participate in advancing the cause of future social development.
Education is not only the transmission of knowledge, but also an emotional penetration. This time, we invite parents to enter the classroom, sit in the classroom with their children, understand the students' learning status, and immerse themselves in the open and interactive course atmosphere of JPED.
In the classroom, students spoke actively, thought clearly and expressed fluently. They were guided by the teacher to continuously think about questions, find answers and explore unknown areas. This way of learning allowed the students to understand and masterknowledge more deeply, rather than simply memorizing and copying.
Through this course experience, parents have a deeper understanding of JPED's teaching mode and teaching style, as well as students' performance and learning atmosphere in class. Because of the understanding, we trust. Because of the trust, the support. This support and recognition from parents is the greatest motivation for JPED to keep moving forward, and is a necessary condition for the implementation of home-school co-education.
Personalized training, the road to
building dreams has already begun
JPED values the academic development of its students, always allowing them to plan their future as they learn and grow, and helping them to be well prepared so that they can not only enter their desired college, but also successfully complete their education and achieve success in their future careers. To this end, the school offers a summer elementary schedule and a flexible credit system to meet students' academic and credit pursuits, allowing each student to have a personalized developmental experience and providing a wealth of learning resources and opportunities based on their interests, aspirations and strengths.
Through the school teachers' presentations, parents were given a comprehensive and detailed understanding of the school's teaching system, student development goals, current academic progress, and students' formative assessment reports.
In the face of the upcoming summer time, the school also provided program support from various dimensions such as academics, internship practice, public service activities, and preparation for higher education to support the students' personalized development.
1V1 communication to
accompany every child's growth
In any relationship, communication is extremely important. Communication is a bridge between expressing and listening, sometimes we are the ones who talk and sometimes we are the ones who listen. Parents and schools act as "allies" on the road to education. The empathy of transposition, sincere communication and exchange, this mutual support and cooperation, is the true meaning of home-school co-education.
Parents can make an appointment with the subject teacher to consult in detail about thestudent's learning situation.
Through one to one meeting, the teachers of each subject made in-depth analysis of the students' individual situations and offered corresponding academic advice and guidance.
This opportunity not only allows parents to establish a better connection and trust with teachers, but also gives parents a better and more comprehensive understanding of their children's performance at school, and also clarifies how to cooperate with the school to help students make progress in the next stage based on teachers' suggestions. Home-school education is a two-way race of love, and we look forward to and work together for the growth of our children.
Each child is a champion in his or her own right, with their own areas of expertise and skills; they have different goals and different directions of development. On the way to becoming a champion, what is needed is for teachers and parents to work with each other and to constantly focus on healthy awareness and growth changes for the child in learning, life, and relationships.
Teachers and parents, who are supposed to be integral elements in the education chain, should simply lean together. After all, the most successful education is when parents and teachers stand shoulder to shoulder.
