The international pathway of ISA Wuhan Secondary School includes ISA Wuhan Internatioanl Secondary School and ISA Wenhua Wuhan Secondary School. The two schools set up the world's mainstream international courses, such as IGCSE, IBMYP, IBDP, A Level, AP, etc. They bring together educational elites from home and abroad, and endeavour to create a holistic educational environment, providing an all-rounded internationally-recognised and integrated global standard curriculum. The curriculum of ISA Wuhan International Secondary School is based on the authentic IBMYP and IBDP World Baccalaureate Programmes, which draws on the best of the East and the West in the areas of Language Learning, Mathematics, Science including Sports Science, Art and Design. They elaborate on these subjects within the framework of the curriculum of the Secondary School Programme.
The Secondary Programme curriculum covers eight subject groups: Language and Literature, Language Acquisition, Individuals and Society, Science, Mathematics, Arts, Physical and Health Education and Design.

The eight subject groups are balanced in the curriculum. Given ISA Wuhan International School’s strong commitment to language learning, English and Chinese are given additional time in the timetable.
The Secondary School also provides students with access to a rich, holistic education: The Arts, Sports, and community service, through the Co-Curricular, Extra-Curricular, and Sports Programmes. These take place throughout the timetable and at the end of the school day.

Approaches to Learning (ATL) are a unifying thread across all secondary programme subject groups, providing a foundation for students to learn independently and encouraging them to use their knowledge and skills in unfamiliar situations. Developing and applying these social, thinking, research, communication, and self-management skills helps students master how they learn.
Action and service have always been shared values of the IB community, and community service is one of the core pillars of ISA Wuhan. Students apply what they learn and take action in and out of the classroom, and IB learners strive to be compassionate members of the community, actively engaged in community service, and positively impacting the lives of others and the environment.

武汉爱莎文华中学部打造了以中国国家课程为学习主线,并借鉴国际文凭中学项目(IB MYP)作为教与学探究框架的全新学习模式。IB MYP是介于小学项目和大学预科项目之间的过渡项目,着重于探究驱动创新精神,帮助学生找到自己真正感兴趣的研究方向。

ISA Wuhan Wenhua Secondary School has created a new learning model that uses the Chinese National Curriculum as the main stream of study and the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IB MYP) as the framework for teaching and learning inquiry, a transitional program between the Primary and Pre-University programs that focuses on inquiry-driven innovation and helps students find their true interest in research.
At the same time, the upper grades incorporate some IGCSE subjects to prepare students with the academic thinking and application skills necessary to continue on to the IBDP/A-LEVEL/AP.
