Teaching Alliance 成功承办“概念驱动教学联盟”成立大会！11位教师获颁学科首席讲师证书！

July 2024 – A fresh wave of educational innovation swept through HW Tongwen Foreign Language School. On July 12-13, the "Concept-Driven Teaching Alliance" Inaugural Conference & Subject Chief Instructor Training, co-hosted by the Curriculum Innovation Research Association, HW, and the Teaching Research Alliance, was successfully held on campus. Educators, experts, and scholars gathered to explore "concept-driven" teaching, signaling a deeper phase of curriculum reform.

The July 13th conference featured expert insights and core discussions on "Concept-Driven" teaching:

高规格学术引领：广深知名公民办学校的校长和学术负责人莅临指导。分别就“为概念性理解而教”、“校长领导力重构”、“大单元设计与课堂评价”、“概念驱动课程体系”、“德育与家校沟通的概念化”等前沿议题发表了精彩演讲，深度剖析了概念驱动教学的理论基础与实践策略。

Principals and academic leaders from leading public and private schools in Guangzhou and Shenzhen delivered speeches. They covered key topics including:teaching for conceptual understanding, leadership, unit design and assessment, curriculum systems, and conceptualizing ethics/parent communication.

实践分享：生动的“概念驱动教学课例分享”环节，为与会者提供了可借鉴的课堂实践样本。

Practice Sharing: Classroom examples demonstrated concept-driven teaching in action.

技术融合：“AI智能技术驱动教与学重构”圆桌论坛，探讨了科技赋能下教与学模式变革的无限可能。

Tech Integration: A forum discussed AI's role in transforming teaching and learning models.

作为本次大会的重要承办单位之一，学校高度重视并深度参与了活动的组织与学习。华外EABA PYP&MYP共派出11位骨干教师全程参与了为期两天的“学科首席讲师培训班”。经过深入的学习研讨和实践考核，11位教师被授予“概念驱动教学学科首席讲师”证书！ 这不仅是对教师们专业能力的充分肯定，也为我校推进概念驱动教学实践储备了强大的核心力量。

As a key host, HW actively organized and participated. Eleven PYP & MYP faculty completed the intensive two-day training. After rigorous training and assessment, all eleven received "Concept-Driven Teaching Subject Chief Instructor" certificates. This recognizes their expertise and strengthens HW's capacity for concept-driven teaching.

接下来学校将启动暑期深化研习，为新学年启动国家课程新课标大单元教学与IB融合课程2.0版本奠基。

HW will launch summer training to prepare for implementing the new national curriculum standards and Version 2.0 of its IB-integrated curriculum in the coming academic year.
