"Embrace China, Embrace the World." This six-character motto stands at HW’s gate and defines us: deep roots in Chinese culture, growing into a global outlook. Visit on May 16 to see how HW integrates "Chinese spirit" and "global vision" in daily education.

学校在高质量完成国家义务教育课程的同时，开设了中华传统文化课、岭南文化探究课程，以及国画、书法、茶艺、陶艺、中国象棋等国粹选修课。孩子们在这里不仅能学到扎实的学科知识，更能从骨子里根植家国情怀，坚定文化自信。

HW delivers the national curriculum plus courses on traditional Chinese culture, Lingnan studies, and electives (ink painting, calligraphy, tea art, pottery, Chinese chess). Students gain academic excellence and cultural confidence.

全球化的今天，仅仅学好一门语言远远不够。华外帮孩子掌握通向世界的钥匙——外语能力、国际理解、跨文化交流，以及“人类命运共同体”的价值视野。

学校每学期开设200多门次选修课程，涵盖人文、自然科学、文艺、体育等多个领域，还提供德、法、西、日、韩等第二外语课程。中外教师协同授课，IB探究式教学与PBL项目式学习并行，为孩子们打开一扇通往世界多元文化的大门。
