In the week leading up to the new semester, our staff came together for a series of focused and intensive professional development programmes. The week combined new teacher orientation, practical workshops and subject-specific training, covering areas such as behaviour management, home–school collaboration, differentiated teaching and student wellbeing. Through case studies, collaborative discussions and interactive sessions, our teams strengthened their professional practice while also building the relationships and shared understanding that contribute to a supportive and collaborative school community.

Beyond academic and pedagogical excellence, we placed equal emphasis on student wellbeing, social and emotional development, community building and inclusive practice. These areas of professional learning equip our educators with the knowledge, understanding and confidence to respond effectively and compassionately to the diverse needs of our students. Safety is more than a checklist—it is a shared responsibility embedded in our daily practice. Over the summer, we carried out a comprehensive review and upgrade of campus facilities and safety systems, including playground surfaces, classroom AV systems, access control and fire safety measures. Our security team also completed refresher training in emergency response and visitor management.

At the same time, our in-house catering team worked closely with other school departments to review food supply procedures and hygiene practices, helping to ensure that meals are prepared and served in accordance with high standards of nutrition, hygiene and food safety. Together, these measures reflect our ongoing commitment to providing a safe, secure and well-maintained environment for every child in our care.

We believe that a clean, safe and welcoming environment supports students’ wellbeing and readiness to learn. That is why our teams have taken great care to prepare the campus for the new academic year. Classrooms, library spaces, dining areas and shared spaces have been thoroughly cleaned, aired and disinfected, ensuring that they are fresh and ready to welcome students back.

Our efforts also extended beyond the school gates to the surrounding Redtory area, contributing to a cleaner and more welcoming environment for the wider community. Our goal is simple: to provide students with a bright, comfortable and welcoming campus where they can settle in confidently, feel a strong sense of belonging and focus on learning, playing and growing together.
