社区设计,是MYP八年级的一项非常重要的核心课程。该项目由学生自行选择感兴趣的主题,然后学生综合运用MYP8大学科的知识,5大学习技能,在全球化与可持续发展、个人与文化表达、身份认同与关系、科学技术与创新、公平与发展、时空定位,这6大全球背景中开展研究。他们还需要将研究化为实际行动,造福社区。
Community project is a central important course of MYP grade 8 students. Students choose their own topics of interest, and then make comprehensive use of the knowledge of MYP's 8 disciplines and 5 ATL skills to carry out research in 6 global contexts: globalization and sustainability, personal and cultural expression, identity and relationship, science and technology and innovation, equity and development, and space-time positioning. They also need to transform their research into authentic action for the benefit of their community.
MYP社区设计可以由一个学生独立完成,也可以由最多不超过3人的学生合作完成。MYP社区设计是一项非常有意义的综合性的探究服务活动,是MYP八年级的一个总结性项目。它的设计课题以学生为中心,并与他们的年龄相适应。通过一个由探究、行动和反思构成的周期,使学生与生活实际问题紧密联系。通过具体的行动体验,将课堂上学习到的知识应用到实际实践中,结合所学课程进行独立调研,将知识灵活运用。
MYP community project can be completed by one student alone or by a group with no more than 3 people. MYP community project is a very meaningful and comprehensive inquiry service activity. It is a summative project of MYP grade 8, which is student-centered and adapted to their age as well. It consists of a cycle of inquiry, reflection and practice. Through specific action experience, students are able to apply the knowledge learned in class to daily practice.
本届八年级的同学分成了5个小组,他们将于2022年4月29日通过各种展示、演讲、海报制作、视频制作、论文、实验报告等形式,展示他们运用知识解决实际问题的能力。欢迎各位家长报名参与他们的学术盛宴。
This academic year, our grade eight students are divided into five groups. They will show their ability to use knowledge to solve practical problems on 29th April 2022 through various forms of display, speech, poster production, video production, thesis, experimental report and so on. Parents are welcome to sign up for their academic feast.
