Aiming at students from grade 6-8, ISA Liwan Middle School (International Pathway) is student-centred, technology-based and high-efficiency oriented through implementing house system and tutorial system, and one student may have a different class schedule from others and may have several tutors. The Middle School gathers excellent teachers from home and abroad to form a strong faculty team, provides a variety of curricula, works together with parents and attaches great importance to students' pastoral care. Not only will they excel academically and in terms of personal growth, they will also be able to navigate the challenges ahead with optimism and an open mind.

ISA Liwan Middle School (International Pathway) takes the MYP as the framework, the Cambridge as the pathway with Lingnan culture and multilingualism as the feature, taking the national compulsory education curriculum (Regarding Wenhua Curriculum) as the core, integrating the UK standards (Regarding IS Curriculum) as well as Singapore standards, holding the core concept of "learner-centered", to provide students in grades 6-8 with inquiry learning experience that guides them to think, design and act independently.

The Middle Years Programme (MYP) is a challenging framework that encourages students to make practical connections between their studies and the real world, preparing them for success in further study and in life. The MYP aims to develop active learners who have the spirit and ability to explore independently and think with a global perspective, so that they can see the world from multiple perspectives and pursue lives of purpose and meaning by means of their own effort.

The MYP curriculum framework comprises eight subject groups, providing a broad and balanced education for early adolescents. The MYP requires at least 50 hours of teaching time for each subject group, in each year of the programme. The programme empowers students to inquire into a wide range of issues and ideas of significance locally, nationally and globally. The result is young people who are creative, critical and reflective thinkers.

ISA Liwan School and ISA Academy collaborate in cultivating students’ deep learning in the fields of academic counselling, academic competitions, physical health, culture and art, scientific and technological innovation, social services, and other personalised fields, including Cantonese Opera, Lion Dance, Fencing, Vex IQ Robot, National Economics Challenges, Model United Nation and so on. With “student-centred” approach, each student has one class schedule, and several tutors, providing students with rich learning resources and building bridges for them to communicate and learn with masters in various fields around the world. We invite leading figures in sports, art, technology, and other industries as their mentors.
