Hello, ladies and gentleman.
I’m Dora, from Class2, Grade5. It’s my honor to be here----giving a speech to you. My topic is ----Chinese Dumplings.
大家好,我是五(2)班的包玉朵。很高兴在这里为大家演讲。我演讲的主题是——中国饺子。
Dumplings are one of the major foods eaten during the Chinese New Year. They look like the golden ingots yuan bao,which was used during the Ming Dynasty for money.
饺子是中国农历新年的主要食物之一。它们看起来像金锭元宝,在明代被用作货币。
Chinese invented dumpling about 1,800 years ago. It’s a traditional food loved by Chinese people.
大约1800年前,中国人发明了饺子。这是一种深受中国人喜爱的传统食物。
There are three types of dumplings.
饺子有三种。
Boiled dumplings: (shuijiao) literally "water dumplings" .
水饺:字面意思是“水饺”。
Steamed dumplings: (zhengjiao) literally "steam-dumpling" .
蒸饺:字面意思是“蒸饺”。
Shallow fried dumplings (jianjiao) “pan stick”, known as “potstickers” in North.
浅煎饺的“锅贴”,在北方被称为“锅贴”。
Next, let me introduce the filling for dumplings.Common dumpling meat fillings include pork, mutton, beef, chicken, fish, and shrimp which are usually mixed with chopped vegetables. Popular vegetable fillings include cabbage, scallion (spring onions), leek.
接下来,让我来介绍饺子的馅料。常见的饺子肉馅包括猪肉、羊肉、牛肉、鸡肉、鱼和虾,通常和切碎的蔬菜混合在一起。流行的蔬菜馅料包括卷心菜、大葱、韭菜。
How to make delicious dumplings?
如何做美味的饺子?
Step 1 Choose materials.Meat,Flour,Flavoring and vegetables.

Step 2 Make a dough.
第二步,做面团。
Step3:Make the fillings .
第三步:做馅料。
Step4: Make dumplings .
第四步:包饺子。
Step5:Boil the dumplings
第五步:煮饺子。
