在进入IB-MYP阶段后,学生已基本形成自己的世界观。我们的教学更加强调他们对各个学科和学术的深层理解,同时培养学生设计思维、团队协作能力与社区服务意识。
At CBIS, we use an interdisciplinary curriculum design approach to develop students' critical thinking, collaboration skills and global citizenship.
After entering the IB-MYP stage, students begin to form their own worldview. Our teaching emphasizes their deep understanding of various disciplines and academics, while cultivating students' creative thinking, teamwork skills and sense of community service.
本学期G7英语第三单元的主题是“自然资源”,本次的社区环保活动就是结合这一主题开展的,这也是MYP课程中“服务即行动”的重要组成部分。
我们G7的学生亲自制作并在社区悬挂环保宣传语,清理湖边的垃圾,体现了他们作为社区成员的责任心。
在活动中,他们亲身感受到了塑料垃圾对生态环境的影响,也深刻意识到保护环境可以从自身做起,从小事做起,即而带动到周边更多的人参与其中,同维护社区美好生活环境。
The Unit 3 topic of G7 English is "Natural Resources". Students explored the topic of natural resources and how we use them in our daily lives. They participated in a range of activities to raise their awareness of energy efficiency and environmental protection.
This activity is carried out in conjunction with the theme unit topic and is also an important part of "Service as Action" in the MYP curriculum.
The way students pick up community garbage, and make and hang environmental protection slogans will enhance the awareness of environmental protection among students and the people around them, and jointly maintain the living environment of the community.
Through the activity, the students personally felt the impact of plastic waste on the environment and creatures around the lake, and they also deeply realized that protecting the environment can start from themselves, starting from small things, and then affecting more people around to participate in it.

At CBIS, we allow students to participate in the whole process of artistic creation. They continue to explore and practice, reflect on the works and the meaning they convey, and share them, so as to develop self-awareness and expand knowledge.
3月9日,MYP艺术组的学生开展研学活动。在“和”美术馆里,食物可以用来表达对生活的热爱,绳子与工具可以表达内心的情绪,理性和逻辑试图则可以编织出平衡有序的画面。

On March 9th, students from the MYP art group carried out research activities. In the "He" Art Museum under the themes “food can be used to express love for life, ropes and tools can express inner emotions, rationality and logical attempts can weave a balanced and orderly picture”.
Our students carefully observed and recorded on the spot. They explored with questions and tried to understand the meaning of the works. Our curriculum design is student-centered to meet the learning and development needs of students at different stages, and enrich students' knowledge and deepen their understanding of concepts through a variety of learning experiences.
Students continue to exercise their learning skills, especially social and reflective skills, and give feedback to the community, and eventually become world citizens with global awareness and international vision.
