Teacher exchange activities between Shenzhen VPA and Hong Kong VSA have always been highly valued.
Today, some teachers from our VPA had the privilege of visiting VSA for teacher exchange activities. The teachers learned many new teaching concepts and methods, which inspired and benefited our teaching work greatly.
VSA Campus
When the teachers from VPA stepped onto the campus of VSA, they felt a different kind of excitement and anticipation. This exchange visit not only brought them a brand-new learning experience, but also broadened their horizons and inspired their teaching ideas.
VSA Classes
VSA values the combination of theory and practice, advocates for inquiry-based learning, and helps students develop the ability to explore and solve problems. At the same time, the school emphasizes the cultivation of students' innovative spirit and practical abilities, inspiring their interests and enthusiasm for subjects such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through a rich variety of activities and projects.
Teachers communicating
Teachers from VPA not only sought advice on teaching experience and methods, but also delved into the trends and directions of educational development. They realized that education is a field of constant renewal and change, and that they must always focus on the needs and development of students, exploring and practicing teaching models that are suitable for different students.
VSA Campus Tour
Mr. Ross Dawson, the principal of VSA, personally led the teachers from VPA on a tour of the campus, and everyone was amazed by the abundant equipment and facilities as well as the beautiful campus environment of VSA.
The teachers of VPA were like a group of travelers eager for new knowledge and ideas. They crossed mountains and rivers to arrive at VSA. Here, they encountered similar but different educational concepts, experienced a more complete STEAM teaching model, and gained a deeper understanding of the perfect collision and integration of Eastern and Western cultures.
The teachers were also like bees collecting nectar from different flowers, absorbing the teaching experience and ideas of VSA, while also injecting fresh energy into the education industry in Hong Kong. Their gain was not only an improvement in teaching methods, but also a rare insight that allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the essence and mission of education.
