The Kindergarten 2 learners were energised by the excitement and anticipation of leaving the school environment for a field trip to the Dongjiang Impression Garden as part of their learning for the unit ‘Sharing the Planet’.
作为“共享地球”学习内容之一,K2班的同学怀着对东江印象园研学活动的期待和兴奋之情,显得非常雀跃。
Students had the opportunity to see new things and learn about them in a more unstructured way and develop a connection with the natural world first-hand.
学生有机会认识新事物,与自然世界亲身接触,以非传统方式学习新知识。

Through their exposure to a different environment, students were able to try new hands-on experiences, such as feeding peacocks, turkeys, and pigeons.

Another interesting part of the trip was discovering the extraordinary way of feeding a school of koi fish using baby bottles.

Students and parents excitedly sighted a group of water buffaloes, cows, pigs, and chickens. Following our guide, parents and students toured through the Hydroponic Hall in the garden. They witnessed how growing and plant cultivation work without soil, only with water.
学生和家长看了一群水牛、奶牛、猪和鸡。跟随导游,家长和学生参观了印象园里的水培厅。他们目睹了植物如何在无土只有水的环境中生长。
Many places in the garden were very interesting for the kids to see, such as an indoor glass bridge, a voice-controlled fountain, and of course, the train was the children’s highlight of the trip.
印象园里很多地方对孩子来说是非常有趣的,像室内玻璃栈道、声控喷泉,当然,小火车是整个行程最亮眼的部分。
