Spring is waning, and the smoked wind brings summer. In this time of prosperity, the long-awaited face-to-face parents' meeting. Accompanied by the misty rain and clouds in summer, we have a great time with your parents, talk about the future growth of children.
The grass and trees are like flowers, the flowers are picturesque, and the dew in the morning moistens things silently. In order to fully empower the healthy growth of children and realize the joint education of the future between home and school, on July 5-6, the bilingual department of CBIS held a parents' meeting of all grades.
BILINGUAL CURRICULUM FRAMEWORK - EMPOWERING GROWTH
Our “1+6 ”curriculum, based on the National Curriculum, is presented in the SCE teaching mode, which is task-driven and promotes student inquiry and communication. Through individual thinking, group work,reporting,presentation and so on, there is a gradient and an upward trend to promote students' active exploration, let children to stand in the middle of the classroom and become the real masters of learning.
The special English course is “5+4”, five lessons of Longman English Leap and National English PEP textbook; four Cambridge lessons taught by foreign teachers, including two Cambridge Science lessons and two Cambridge Math lessons. We not only learn English, but also use English to learn subject knowledge, make full use of it, create a native language environment, and apply what we have learned.
Supplemented by Chinese studies courses, STEM courses, and ASA courses—based on cultivating our students with Chinese soul, global view, and full of personality; the development of project-based courses breaks the barriers between disciplines, and presents the learning content in the form of research tasks , to broaden students' thinking; at the same time, our school pays great attention to the development of children's personality, builds a full-cycle care curriculum system, and cares for children's healthy growth.

Each homeroom teacher introduced the main work of this semester and shows the activities of the students in the class, so that parents can have a more comprehensive and detailed understanding of the students' school situation. Teachers communicated with parents on students' study, life, safety and other aspects during the summer vacation, especially in terms of strengthening drowning prevention safety and traffic safety. Parents are reminded to fulfil their guardianship responsibilities and to ensure the safety and study of their children during the summer holidays.
Parents listened carefully. At the end of the parents' meeting, many parents had in-depth exchanges with teachers. The teachers sincerely gave feedback on students' problems, and at the same time discussed solutions with parents based on student's problems. I believe that with the joint efforts of the school and the family, the children will be able to spend a safe, happy and fulfilling summer holidays!
The road to education is long, and the heart of educating people is burning. This substantial and meaningful parents' meeting laid a solid foundation for the school's educational work and gave parents a more comprehensive understanding of their children, teachers and the school.
