Looking back at the 2022-2023 academic year, it was a challenging year and a year of continuous growth and progress for all CBIS teachers and students.
With the joint efforts of all teachers, students, and parents, the CBIS learning community has gained many honors!
The Education Bureau of Nanhai District and the Education Development Center of Lishui Town of Foshan City commended outstanding collectives who positively contributed to education development in the previous academic year. Among them, CBIS was awarded the title of Advanced Collective in the Education System of Lishui Town, and our Secondary Chinese Department was awarded the title of Advanced Subject Department in the Education System of Lishui Town.
At the same time, 18 teachers and students were awarded for their outstanding performance. CBIS is proud of them and stands out because of them.

As a front-line teacher for over 20 years, I have undergone two revisions of the national curriculum standards and deeply understand the necessity of education and teaching reform in China.
Every child is a dynamic and hopeful living entity with a noble soul. When getting along with them, teachers should let go of utilitarianism and serve as an enlightener and guide for students' lifelong development and learning. They should focus on the cultivation of students' "expert thinking" and "complex communication skills", making them truly "action takers" and "creators", and allowing them to grow up in creation.
At CBIS, we 'make the visionary education a visible landscape'. This is a school that respects students and focuses on their lifelong development. There is a curriculum system that is more in line with students' development and full of charm. Here, teachers can independently develop courses that are suitable for students. Here, students can grow more happily and freely. Here, more emphasis is placed on the quality education, allowing students to develop various accomplishment through practices.

10 years of experience as a homeroom teacher has taught me that there are no small matters for students, and everything must be handled meticulously and comprehensively. I firmly believe that 'a student will believe in teachings only when he gets close to his teacher'. Therefore, loving children is the only way to teach them well. As a primary school teacher, I deeply understand the need to give children a wider range of love.
Class management is an essential component of a homeroom teacher's work, which is reflected in teaching and daily life. We need to pay continuous attention to students' meals and daily routines, guide them correctly in establishing self-management awareness and cultivating good learning habits, and build a bridge of communication with love.
In my work, I will always maintain close contact with parents. With our joint efforts, I believe these lovely children will learn to love themselves, others, and life and become lifelong learners full of love.
