International Exchange Activities
From 19th to 25th November, we welcomed 8 students from G8-G9 of Stenhus Kostskole to ASJ GuangZhou to experience the ASJ curriculum, learn about Chinese culture, meet new friends, experience the charm of the Lingnan city, and broaden each other's international horizons.
On the afternoon of 19th November, the Danish students from Stone Axe High School arrived at ASJ after a ten-hour flight, and the anticipation of the week ahead washed away the Danish students' fatigue. Under the guidance of the ASJ teachers, the Danish students quickly adapted to the dormitory life at ASJ.
Read thousands of books and travel thousands of miles. The best way to learn about a country or culture is to immerse yourself in it, to listen, to see and to feel. While the Danish students were packing their bags, nine ASJ students were ready to go, and they were the "one-on-one" support for the Danish students during their stay at ASJ.
Students from all over the world, with different countries and backgrounds, have a thirst for knowledge and the world, which makes them willing to take the initiative to communicate and discover different customs, as well as to have new insights and understandings in cross-cultural learning and exchanges.
Headmaster's Meeting
Principal's Luncheon
During their stay at ASJ, the Danish students attended the Principal's Meeting and the Principal's Luncheon. At ASJ, we regularly hold the Principal's Meeting and the Principal's Luncheon in order to "build a platform for communication between students and teachers, and to listen carefully to students' voices", and to encourage students to ask questions and express their opinions freely, so that the school can look forward to solving problems for students and teachers and improving the standard of life on campus.
At the Principal's meeting, the Danish students said that ASJ students are very enthusiastic and often take the initiative to lead them to familiarise themselves with campus life. Even though neither of them speaks English as their mother tongue, their communication with ASJ students was very smooth. The Danish students fell in love with the city of Guangzhou and are looking forward to visiting Guangzhou again with their families in the future.
ASJ focuses on whole-person education, cultivating people who develop harmoniously in terms of body, knowledge, skills, morality, intelligence, spirituality and creativity. During their stay in school, Danish students experience ASJ's diverse programmes in English, art, science and technology, physical education, dance, calligraphy ...... During their experience, students from both sides gradually build up a platform for learning and communication, forming a good atmosphere for mutual learning and common progress.

International Exchange Activities
IB educations emphasise the importance of making connections, exploring a variety of relationships between disciplines, and understanding the world in a variety of ways that go beyond the scope of a single discipline. They also focus on providing students with tangible opportunities to connect their learning to the world around them. In order to help students understand and better plan their exchange studies in advance, and to prepare them to embrace diversity and explore the world, ASJ provides students with a variety of learning and exchange opportunities, and we look forward to seeing ASJ students participate in more exchange programmes in the future, and to become internationally minded people in practice.
