DISCOVER THE MAGIC
OF READING
On Dec 1st, our annual Reading Week - "Discover the Magic of Reading" came to an end, symbolizing the end of the week's feast of reading.
However, the passion for literature is awakened during reading and sharing.
In this week, we saw our students wandering in the sea of books. They showed their love for reading in various interesting places, in the library, classrooms, restaurant and everywhere.
READING ANYWHERE
& ANYTIME
We have a unique and interesting theme on each day of the Reading Week.
On the Read-A-Thon Day, students shared their favorite books with through the live streaming.
On the second day, they changed into their comfortable and cute pajamas, either sit together and focusing on reading.
On the Story Walk Day, they strolled through the beautiful campus, searching for clues to the story.
On the Art of Reading Day, students generously shared their experiences and skills they had learnt during the week.
The climax of our Reading Week occurred when our children dressed as their favourite book characters. Check it out!
This was not just a game: Dressing up as their favorite heroes, kids had the opportunity to bring their stories close to reality, expressing their creativity as well as expanding their communication skills.
On the Flea Market Day, students decorated their stalls and showcased their books and small handicrafts, exchanged their own books to interpret the spirit of shared reading.

At CBIS, learning is endless just like the nourishment that literature gives us, which makes us different in life. Although lifelong learners come in various forms, they all share a common characteristic, which is their love for reading and understanding of scientific reading.
A lifelong passion for reading is the most important gift that a school can provide for students. We hope to create a better place for our children to read for fun and to know themselves and the world not only in the reading week.
