BeeMee Forest Academy has built an international children's curriculum system known as BeeMee Curriculum System (BCS). BCS is a unique fusion of Chinese and Western cultures and follows the concepts and educational spirit of the British EYFS framework for early education and the famous Italian education system Reggio. It incorporates the British IEYC (International Early Years Curriculum) and cooperates with the world's top universities, laboratories, educational institutions and experts to offer distinctive courses tailored to the local context in Changsha. on special courses. On top of this teaching system, BeeMee has also established a teacher research and training system to allow Chinese and foreign teachers to grow in their teaching and to consolidate the quality of their teaching. At the beginning of the semester, we conduct a series of trainings for Chinese and foreign teachers to enrich themselves before starting a new semester. The purpose of the trainings is not only to strengthen professional learning, but also to internalize, reflect and think creatively after a semester. During the semester, every week, Chinese and foreign teachers hold teaching and research meetings to prepare lessons together, listen to each other's lessons, and discuss the characteristics of a high-quality classroom.

在11月,彼一米西湖校区开展了外籍老师听课评课活动,每一次听课结束,园长、外方教学主任带领外籍老师们一起进行研讨,虚心听取不同老师的建议,也不吝夸赞他人的优秀之处,通过此次听课评课,外教老师们一致认为,优质的课堂应该具备以下几点。
In November, BeeMee Xihu Campus organized an observation and evaluation activity for foreign teachers. After each observation session, the school principal and the foreign teaching director led the foreign teachers in discussions. They were open-minded in receiving suggestions from different teachers and didn't hesitate to praise each other's strengths. 充分的备课与教具的准备

备课是教学活动开展的基础,彼一米的老师们每周提前备课,书写周计划与详细的日计划,并提前一天准备好教具,每一个活动都是有备而来,做到有计划有准备地开展日常教学活动。
Lesson preparation is the basis of teaching activities. The teachers at BeeMee prepare their lessons in advance every week and write weekly and detailed daily plans. They prepare teaching aids a day in advance, so that every activity is prepared and that they can carry out their daily teaching activities in a well-planned and well-prepared manner.

在IEYC的主题教学下,每一个单元都有相应的学习目标,老师们在集体备课,确定教学进度与教学计划后,将每个单元的学习目标细化到每一个教学活动中,以符合不同年龄段幼儿的发展。

2-6岁幼儿的注意力集中时长,从10分钟到30分钟不一,这也就要求老师们在实施教学活动时,要特别注意活动的节奏,快与慢、高与低、松与紧都能让幼儿更投入地参与到活动中来,而老师,也不仅仅是一个老师,他会在教学的过程中成为歌唱家、舞蹈家、魔术师等等。

听课评课不仅限于此,接下来,园长和外方教学主任会继续点对点进行听课,和外教老师们一起共研共创高质量教学。也正是因为彼一米老师们在用心夯实教育教学的点点滴滴,我们在11月份迎来了半日家长开放活动,邀请家长们走进课堂,走进孩子们真实的幼儿园生活。
The process of observation and evaluation doesn't end here. Following this, the school principal and the foreign teaching director will continue with one-on-one classroom observations, collaborating with foreign teachers to collectively research and create high-quality teaching methods. It is precisely because the teachers at BeeMee Xihu Campus are diligently consolidating every aspect of education and teaching that we welcomed a half-day parent open event in November. We invited parents to step into the classrooms, immersing themselves in the authentic lives of their children in the kindergarten.
家长们如期到来,每个班级的参与率都非常高,因着不同班级的课程安排,家长们看到了孩子们在IEYC、森林日、皮划艇、音乐课、过渡环节、用餐、生活自理能力等各活动的开展,也看到了在幼儿园不一样的孩子们。
The parents arrived as scheduled, and the participation rates in each class were exceptionally high. Due to the varied curriculum schedules across different classes, parents had the opportunity to witness their children engaging in activities such as IEYC (International Early Years Curriculum), Forest Day, kayaking, music lessons, transition activities, dining, and developing life skills. They also observed the unique qualities of the children in the kindergarten setting.
