At CBIS, every student can be a shining artist.
Our students have accesses to the best art education resources, they have the opportunity to participate in artistic creation through various art media to express their creativity and ideas.
The Art Exhibition of CBIS was held on Dec 27-29. With the theme "Shining Children", the exhibition was opened to all the teachers, students and parents.
Under the guidance of different exploration clues, our students, individually or in groups, used different materials and methods to create their works.
Our students led and participated in the entire process of creating, continuously exploring and practicing, reflecting on the works and the conveyed meanings, sharing different cultural perspectives, and cultivating self-awareness.
The exhibition included Chinese paintings, Paper Cuttings, prints, handicrafts, stone sculptures, clay, etc. From color, shape, creativity, space to exploring the principles and mysteries behind the works, our students went into the beauty, felt the beauty, understand it and create it in an all-round and multi angle way.
In this exhibition, we can see our students thinking, trying, discovering problems, reflecting, trying again, solving problems, and finally completing. They are all the shining children!
In our daily teaching, we respect the imagination of our students and hope to help them improve their ability to appreciate and create the beauty, allowing their inner world to be fully expressed.
during the exhibition, we were surprised to see that many students explored not only the art. They have created their own terrain and landform models to simulate natural disaster scenes, rasing people's awareness of environmental protection. They also called on everyone to pay attention to cultural inheritance and innovation through DIY shadow puppetry.
Everyone participating in the exhibition could feel the beauty behind the works through their exquisite craftsmanship.
