4月19日周日上午,CBFS面向意向1—6年级学生开放课程体验活动,通过开放日,不仅可以全面了解CBFS的课程设置、教学成果、教育理念等,体验真实的课堂学习样态,更能与学术团队、招生老师进行面对面交流解答,解决家长和孩子们关心的教育问题。

K3-G2寻春探究体验课
语文
本次开放日专为幼儿园大班K3至小学一、二年级学生,打造“春日寻趣,五感创诗”寻春主题UOI探究课程。课程以绘本《小兔子找春天》趣味导入,引导孩子运用五感观察法,用心感知春日万物的美好。在诗文诵读与趣味互动中感受诗歌韵律之美,自主创作春日拼贴诗,借助沉浸式体验与动手实践,充分激发语文学习兴趣。课程兼具探究性与趣味性,全面培养孩子的观察力、表达力与审美素养,让孩子在玩乐中学习、欣赏中感悟,稳步提升语文核心素养。

英语
这节ESL(英语作为第二语言)课程设置四大趣味感官体验站,带领孩子以沉浸式、探究式的方式探索春日。孩子们通过视觉、触觉、嗅觉与听觉,对比感知四季特征,将各类事物分类为“春日元素”与“非春日元素”。孩子们在自主体验中建立认知,理解春天是万物复苏的季节,同时掌握花朵、微风、冰雪消融等丰富的主题词汇。整堂课依托沉浸式体验式学习场景,有效培养学生的感官感知力、批判性思维与综合语言能力。

体育
UOI体育融合课程以风筝跑趣味热身,继而开展“蝴蝶逃生”障碍闯关训练,有效锻炼学生的灵敏素质、奔跑速度与肢体协调能力。结合春日主题的摘花互动游戏,帮助孩子提升投掷精准度与动作控制能力。课程立足运动乐趣,充分调动学生主动探索的积极性,增强综合体能,让孩子们在轻松愉悦的运动氛围中夯实运动技能,涵养团队协作意识。

G3-5丝绸之路探究体验课
语文
本次开放日为三至五年级学生,精心打造“丝绸之路”主题UOI探究课程。孩子们将化身“丝路探险队”成员,手持专属“丝路人物任务卡”,沉浸式开启一场穿越两千年的英雄追寻之旅!从丝路开拓的艰辛征程,到商贸经营的智慧博弈,再到多元文化的交融传播,孩子们将亲手解锁丝路传奇人物的真实故事。在完成探究记录单、分类对比英雄卓越贡献的过程中,孩子们不仅能积累扎实的历史知识,更能真切体悟勇气、责任与担当的深刻内涵。

科学
UOI科学课堂依托IB教育理念与探究式学习模式,带领学生探索蚕的生命周期。学生将运用科学观察能力,辨别蚕的不同生长阶段,自主描述自家蚕宝宝的外形与生长特征。课程结束后,学生可将科学观察工具包带回家,自主开展后续探究,延续探索与学习。

艺术
UOI艺术融合课程将带领孩子们沉浸式探秘丝绸之路的丝扇文化。课程中,孩子们将探寻从春蚕吐丝到制丝成扇的匠心历程,解锁这一丝路好物的制作奥秘;在趣味讲解中聆听丝扇背后的丝路传奇,亲手绘制专属丝扇,打造独一无二的文创作品。在动手创作中树立丝路文化认同感,同步提升审美素养与实践能力,实现文化感知与技能成长的双重收获。

On Sunday morning, April 19th, CBFS will hold an open day event for invited children who are interested in grades 1 to 6 for the academic year 2026-2027. Through this open day, parents and children can not only fully understand CBFS's curriculum, teaching achievements, educational philosophy, and other aspects, and experience the real learning environment, but also receive professional answers from the academic team, and enrollment teachers to address their concerns.

Campus Tour
On the open day, you can personally walk into the campus and follow the school team to tour the campus, listen to the explanation, visit the campus designed based on the curriculum and teaching, and feel the unique international school campus and warm community atmosphere.







Immersive Experience in Real Classrooms
Divided by age and class, students will enter the real classroom of BeeMee to experience first-hand the purest inquiry-based academic atmosphere and discover the journey of growth in learning.

At the primary school stage, CBFS takes the national curriculum standards as its core, integrating advanced international curriculum concepts and the IB curriculum framework to construct a diverse curriculum system that includes humanities and science, physical education and arts, and artificial intelligence, among others. This system comprises three main parts: core curriculum, inquiry curriculum, and featured curriculum. CBFS organically integrates these three types of courses in daily teaching through Project-Based Learning (PBL), inquiry-based learning, interdisciplinary studies, and immersive bilingual (Chinese and English) education. This approach provides students with a unique international holistic education, equipping them with the foundational qualities and skills of global citizens, and enabling them to face the future with greater confidence. At CBFS, our curriculum framework is built around the philosophy of One Student, One Plan.It is designed to map out a personalized development pathway for every student. The focus is on guiding students to identify their strengths, master efficient and suitable learning methods, and develop strong metacognitive abilities.Ultimately, they will realize their potential through independent exploration and become unique individuals who shine brightly.

K3-G2 Spring Exploration Inquiry Course
Chinese
Tailored for K3 to Grade 2 students, this Open Day launches a spring-themed UOI inquiry course - Exploring Spring with Five Senses & Creating Poetry. With the picture book Little Bunny Looks for Spring as an engaging opening, the course guides children to observe with their five senses and perceive the beauty of spring nature. Students experience the rhythm of poetry through reading and interactive activities, and independently create spring collage poems. Integrated with immersive scenes and hands-on practice, the course greatly stimulates students’ interest in Chinese learning. Balancing inquiry and fun, it fully cultivates students’ observation, expression and aesthetic literacy. Children learn through play and gain insights from appreciation, steadily improving their core Chinese competencies.

English
This ESL lesson offers K3-G2 students an immersive, inquiry-driven exploration of spring via four engaging sensory stations. Through sight, touch, smell, and sound, students compare and contrast seasonal cues, then classify items into “spring” and “non-spring” categories. They actively construct understanding of spring as a season of renewal while acquiring rich thematic vocabulary such as blossom, breeze, and thaw. The lesson fosters sensory awareness, critical thinking, and language development in a meaningful, experiential learning context.

PE
This PE lesson is designed for K3-G2 students with fun, inquiry-based activities. Students start with kite running to warm up. Then they experience butterfly escape to practice agility, speed and coordination through obstacle games. In the spring-themed flower-picking activity, they improve throwing accuracy and control. The lesson motivates students to explore movement joy, enhances physical fitness, and cultivates their motor skills and teamwork in a playful way.

G3–5 The Silk Road Inquiry Course
Chinese
This Open Day features a bespoke UOI inquiry course themed The Silk Road for students in Grades 3 to 5. Students ill act as members of the “Silk Road Expedition Team” and embark on an immersive two-thousand-year journey to trace heroic figures with exclusive character task cards in hand. From the arduous journey of pioneering the Silk Road and the wisdom of trade and business, to the integration and spread of diverse cultures, students will discover the real stories of legendary Silk Road figures.By completing inquiry worksheets and comparing the remarkable contributions of these historical heroes, students will not only build solid historical knowledge, but also deeply understand the true meaning of courage, responsibility and commitment.

STEM
We will use IB philosophy inquiry based learning to discover the life cycle of a silk worm. Students will use their scientific observation skills to identify the life stage of silk worms. Students will describe the features they observe in their own silk worm. Students will be able to take the science observation kit home to continue their inquiry independently after the completion of the lesson.

Art
In this UOI integrated art course, children will embark on an immersive exploration of silk fan culture along the Silk Road. Students will discover the exquisite craft journey from silkworms spinning silk to fans being woven and shaped, unlocking the production secrets of this classic Silk Road treasure. Through lively explanations, they will learn the timeless legends behind silk fans, and hand-paint their exclusive silk fans to create one-of-a-kind cultural and creative works. Hands-on creation helps students build a deep cultural identity with the Silk Road heritage, while improving their aesthetic literacy and practical abilities. The course delivers dual gains in cultural cognition and all-round skill development.
