In the opinion of Annie's father in LWS Kindergarten K2, a kindergarten's educational philosophy is not about 'talk', but about the day-to-day practice of the teachers and the mutual stimulation in the interaction between home and school.
In Annie's father's eyes, it is the gentle and personalised orientation programme at LWS, the open communication channels at the kindergarten and the acceptance and support of each and every teacher that has enabled Annie to make great progress.
In his words, we see the magic of LWS Kindergarten.

Capturing children's individuality and initiative
When asked about the biggest change in Annie's life over the semester, her father said, "I think she has become a much more independent learner and has become more outspoken and daring."
Einstein said that "interest is the best teacher" and LWS believes in this saying, especially for the nursery children, who are young, inattentive and easily attracted to things around them, so if they are not interested in what they are doing, it is very difficult to get them to do it.
Here, teachers create contexts through playful features, allowing children to choose, manipulate and learn on their own, individually or in small groups, so that they can use and accumulate, modify and express their experiences and feelings in interaction with the environment, and gain physical, emotional, cognitive and social development while having play-like experiences.

The magic of LWS
"Annie, now, wakes up even an hour earlier than before, but she still gets up happily to go to the Kindergarten." Annie's dad gave this example when asked if Annie likes LWS.
With the EYFS as the core system, LWS aims to nurture "unique" international talents, to develop children's creative ability and spirit of exploration, and to shape children into "whole children" with independent personality, noble character, excellent leadership and Chinese sentiment.
Encouraging children to learn through play
Play itself is a process of free exploration and practice. Children have the opportunity to be exposed to a large number of new things and to gain a great deal of useful experience for themselves through personal experimentation. As a result, children's creativity, adaptability, problem-solving skills and learning efficiency are all enhanced through play.
Fostering children's interests
The American educator Dewey once said, "Interest is the signal and symbol of growing ability."
LWS believes that every child has an innate talent and that the key is how to nurture and develop it. As teachers and parents, we need to discover the potential of our children through their words and actions, and provide them with a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere in which to grow and develop their interests and strengths in a way that they are comfortable with.
Asking open-ended questions
Open-ended questions allow children to look beyond the criteria of right and wrong.
It fosters creativity and makes children happy to use their brains, while also increasing their interest in learning.
The teachers at LWS often throw out questions with no fixed answers, encouraging and guiding children to think from different perspectives. This helps children to expand their thinking and creates opportunities for children to express themselves and meet their desire and demand to speak.
The Guidelines for Learning and Development of Children Aged 3-6 years suggest that young children should "get close to nature and enjoy exploring", develop their "initial investigative skills" and "learn about the natural things and phenomena around them" in their investigations. In the process of investigation, they should "learn about the natural things and phenomena around them".
Based on the basic requirements of the Guidelines, the nature programme of LWS Kindergarten starts from the basic needs of children to experience and explore nature, and focuses the objectives of the programme on the three basic dimensions of "Nature Character", "Nature Ability" and "Nature Cognition". "Nature Awareness'.
LWS believes in children, in nature. The little child is part of the big nature.
There are many amazing things about LWS ......
