暨奖学金颁奖盛典圆满落幕

典礼在精彩纷呈的节目表演中拉开帷幕。歌曲《下一个天亮》、长笛与钢琴合奏《诀别书》、《你是最美好的存在》温柔唱响。同学们用歌声与器乐演绎青春风采，动人的表演点燃现场氛围，为本次开学典礼写下浪漫的开篇。

新学期，学校迎来多位新教职工加入宏润博源大家庭。舞台上，新老师们依次亮相，分享教育初心与寄语。不同的专业背景，同样的教育热忱，他们将陪伴同学们探索求知，护航同学们的校园成长。

随后教师代表 Isa 进行发言，以亲身经历启迪同学们保持好奇心，向内探索，找寻属于自己的人生方向。随后，Atlas、 Yoyo、 Alex、Hayden，四位学生代表依次登台，分别代表新生及各个学段做分享，诉说成长思考，传递少年的理想与力量。

本次典礼设置多层次荣誉表彰，多项荣誉陆续揭晓，包含闻慧奖学金、全A生表彰、体育锻炼奖、书香校园笃行经典阅读打卡、学业进步奖、社会活动奖以及各等级学业专项奖、创始人奖等。其中闻慧奖学金由往届毕业生家长匿名捐赠，每年捐赠 10 万元，每学期奖励 50 位同学，不看入学成绩，看重在校的耕耘蜕变，名字取自 “闻、思、修” 三慧之道，传递捐赠者对学子勤学笃行的期许。

学校拥有梯度完善的奖学金体系，涵盖荣誉毕业生奖（5万元）、创始人奖（2万元）、金奖（1万元），以及银奖（8千元）、学业优秀奖（5千元）等众多奖项，覆盖不同成长层级。各类奖项于每学年 9 月开学典礼集中颁发，以丰厚激励致敬学子长期的坚持与卓越成就。学校既嘉奖深耕学术、突破自我的学子，也肯定在社区服务、公益实践中发光发热的少年。

值得一提的是，S 级社团 Nice2cu 大放异彩。其《星伴计划》孤独症青少年陪伴项目斩获 CTB 全球青年研究创新论坛全国一等奖，并登上哈佛国际舞台；团队积极参与上海特奥融合跑，用善意与行动践行青年社会责任，实现双向成长。

现场同步开展班级集体荣誉表彰，最具潜力班级、最具竞争力班级、最强班级相继揭晓。班级荣誉综合考量班级整体风貌，涵盖集体活动、运动赛事、教室与宿舍内务、日常自我管理、社区服务贡献等多维度表现，班级每位同学的表现都直接影响集体荣誉。这份荣誉属于班级里的每一位成员，集体并肩，共赴进步。

学子成长与学校发展，离不开家长群体的鼎力赋能。本次典礼上，近二十位家长代表登台，由 Bowen 校长、刘校、外方学术主任 Daniel 为其颁发致谢表彰。

学校诸多宝贵的学习资源，大多由家长们牵线对接，为同学们争取到行业参访、专家对话的难得机会。校方也鼓励老师们大胆构思项目，家长是学校坚实的后盾。每年三月的职业探索周，十余位各行各业的精英走进校园分享，其中不少嘉宾都来自家长资源，为孩子们打开多元的认知窗口。

家委会主席团三位代表也登台送上新学期寄语：

“心有热爱，无问东西；与其仰望他人的星光，不如活成自己的太阳”，同时也传递社区情怀：once a SHBS always a SHBS，无论在校时光长短，与学校的联结始终长存。

借波士顿马拉松先驱 Bobbi Gibb 的故事鼓励大家，打破 “你不行” 的固有桎梏，把 “I can’t” 变成 “I can，I will be，I’m doing now”。

则祝愿全体学子，在学校开放包容的环境中尽情探索、发现并成就自我。

典礼的最后，Bowen校长为全体师生送上新学期殷切寄语。

他勉励同学们：心里装得下世界，更要扎在中国，拥有全球视野的同时守住文化根基；不必盲从他人的脚步，寻找到属于自己的成长节奏，善用 AI 工具但保有独立思考；学会宽容待己、宽厚待人，接纳成长路上的挫折与不完美。

同时寄语全体教师：教育的本质是唤醒、陪伴与点亮，不止看见分数，更要看见每一个完整鲜活的孩子。

SHBS Opening Ceremony & Scholarship Awards Ceremony Concludes Successfully

SHBS has welcomed a number of new teachers to its community for the new semester. All new faculty members took the stage to introduce themselves and share their passion and educational vision. Veteran faculty also came onto the stage in turn, waving to students and parents in attendance. With diverse academic backgrounds yet the same dedication to education, they will support students’ exploration of knowledge and accompany them throughout their campus growth.

Teacher representative Isa delivered an inspiring speech, sharing her personal experience to encourage students to stay curious, explore inwardly, and discover their own life paths. Following this, four student representatives — Atlas, Yoyo, Alex and Hayden — took the stage in turn. Representing new students and different grade levels, they shared their reflections on growth and expressed the aspirations and strength of SHBS youth.

The ceremony presented a wide range of honors and awards in recognition of students’ efforts and achievements. The accolades included the Wenhui Scholarship, All-A Student Honor, Physical Activity Award, Classic Reading Challenge Award, Academic Progress Award, Community Service Award, specialized academic awards at all levels, and the Founder’s Award.

The Wenhui Scholarship is anonymously sponsored by SHBS alumni parents, with an annual donation of 100,000 RMB. Each semester, it recognizes 50 outstanding students. Rather than focusing on admission results, the scholarship values students’ continuous efforts and personal growth on campus. Its name derives from the three core virtues of “learning, reflection and practice”, embodying the donor’s sincere wish for students to learn diligently and grow steadily.

SHBS maintains a comprehensive and tiered scholarship system, including the Honor Graduate Award (50,000 RMB), Founder’s Award (20,000 RMB), Gold Scholarship (10,000 RMB), Silver Scholarship (8,000 RMB), and Academic Excellence Award (5,000 RMB). All awards are officially presented at the September opening ceremony every year, honoring students’ long-term persistence and outstanding performance. The school recognizes not only academic achievers who constantly push themselves forward, but also active contributors to community service and public welfare. 

Notably, SHBS S-level club Nice2cu delivered remarkable achievements over the past year. Its flagship project, the Star Companion Program that supports teenagers with autism, won the National First Prize at the CTB Global Youth Innovation Forum and was showcased at Harvard University’s international stage. The team also actively participated in the Shanghai Special Olympics Unified Run, fulfilling youth social responsibility through kindness and practical actions and achieving mutual progress with the community.

The ceremony also presented collective class honors, namely the Most Promising Class, Most Competitive Class, and Strongest Class. These comprehensive awards evaluate overall class performance based on group activities, sports competitions, classroom and dormitory management, daily self-discipline, and community service participation. Every student’s effort contributes to the class’s overall achievement, making the honor a shared glory for every member of the collective.

Student development and school progress cannot thrive without strong parental support. During the ceremony, nearly twenty parent representatives were invited on stage. Head of School Bowen, Ms. Liu, and Foreign Academic Director Daniel presented commemorative awards to thank them for their dedication.

Many of the school’s high-quality external learning resources are made possible by parent connections, offering students valuable opportunities for industry visits and professional exchanges. The school encourages teachers to develop innovative projects, with parents serving as a powerful and reliable backing of the campus community. Every March, the school hosts the Career Exploration Week, welcoming over a dozen industry professionals to share their insights. Many guest speakers are recommended by parents, broadening students’ horizons and enriching their cognitive experience.

Three representatives from the Parent Committee Presidium also delivered heartfelt new-semester messages.

“Follow your passion without hesitation. Rather than admiring others’ brilliance, strive to shine brightly on your own.” He also conveyed the enduring SHBS community spirit: once a SHBS student, always a SHBS member. No matter how long students stay on campus, their bond with the school lasts forever.

Drew inspiration from Bobbi Gibb, a pioneer of the Boston Marathon. She encouraged all students to break free from self-doubt and restrictive mindsets, and transform “I can’t” into “I can, I will, and I am taking action now”.

She wished every student the courage to explore freely, discover their true selves, and pursue full growth within the school’s open and inclusive environment.

At the end of the ceremony, Head of School Bowen delivered an inspiring closing speech for the new semester.

He encouraged students to embrace a global vision while staying rooted in Chinese cultural heritage. He advised students not to follow others blindly, but to find their own unique pace of growth. While making full use of AI tools for learning, students should retain independent critical thinking. He also reminded everyone to be tolerant toward themselves and others, and to embrace setbacks and imperfections as indispensable parts of growth.

Meanwhile, he addressed all faculty members, stating that the essence of education lies in awakening, accompanying and empowering every child.

Education values not only academic grades, but also the holistic growth of each unique individual.
