Half of the semester has passed. In sports class, our students had two memorable weeks.
In the training of the school football team last week, Cheney Z finished his last training session at Lucton. Thanks to his contribution to our team, and I wish everything goes well with his academic life in Switzerland.
On March 31, in the third year after our students learned about rowing, Lucton School Rowing Club was formally established. Sports Department introduced the specific recruitment requirements to our students. The first round of selection for LSRC will be held this week to confirm the club members list eventually staying on LSRC, which will be one of the most important tasks of Sports Department in the coming week. The selected club members will also have more systematic training to ensure that they can have a better competitive ability.
During the baseball course on Tuesday, our students showed good team collaboration skills, and they have already understood more about this complicated sport through a series of training sessions.
In the next few weeks, our students will have a series of physical fitness tests and then we will know more about their muscular strength, endurance and so forth.
On April 17-18, we will have 10 students participate in the Yangtze River Delta J&Y Equestrian Tour.
On April 21, Lucton school basketball team will have a friendly game with Shanghai Ivy School.
