To run, to jump, to fall and get up again, to fail and win, to pant and gain exhilaration ......
This is the growing experience that our PE lessons bring to each child, a physical change and a mental enlightenment.
In BMH's PE classes, our professional teachers set up different curriculums for different age groups, building children's bodies and minds in a gradual and progressive manner.
K1 The children in K1 are gradually being introduced to sport and have a good understanding of the 'PE' curriculum. At the same time, the weekly PE lessons have enabled them to improve their physical fitness and learn simple motor skills such as running, jumping and throwing.
K2 The K2 children are playing ball games, they are learning to shoot and kick the ball and are being introduced to the rules of basketball and football. They are also more competitive. Every child wants to be first and is not afraid of losing.
K3 The K3 children are more aware of the importance of rules and from time to time organise their own games or activities. Under the guidance of their teachers, the children are able to follow the rules very conscientiously. They are able to exercise actively at the request of their teachers, which plays a great role in strengthening the students themselves and correcting and compensating for physical and mental deficiencies. This has enabled them to develop good behavioural habits and proper classroom routines, which are also extremely beneficial for their upcoming Prep school life.
Being healthy and having fun is what many parents look forward to for their children. At BMH, we strive to keep our students happy while exercising, and to enhance their self-confidence and social skills. They are made to understand their importance in the group and that they are an integral part of the family.
Sports education is a complete system. On campus we have fun and engaging PE lessons for the children, with exciting competitions and games in which every child participates. So they have fun playing sport, experiencing the pleasurable sensations that come with each movement, appreciating a sense of collective honour, bravery and tenacity.
This is the BMH PE class, but what it brings to the children is much more than a PE class.
