August 30th, 2021, was when the story in Pre-k and K1 began.
Most of us were first to come to school, leave our parents, and live in a new environment. With insecurity, curiosity, and motivation, our learning journey starts!
Settling in a new environment becomes easy when we have company from new friends, teachers' care, and love from family. Follow us to see how the settlement has been done.
On the first day of school, with the tiny little class name in our ID badges, we found friends in our class and were greeted by our new teachers!
As part of the settling-in process, teachers covered a series of activities to help familiarise us with the classroom and the daily activities and routines.
We did many exciting activities, including art design, sensory exploration, construction play, singing, and dancing. Take a look at what we did in school:
Before we go home every day, we make sure everything goes back to its original places, including those green chairs. Teachers remind us to take ownership of the classroom, and we feel safer because the classroom feels more and more like a home to us now.
We were lining up in straight lines. We were missing parents, but we also wanted to play more in school, and playing with friends and teachers is fun!
We introduced ourselves exceptionally. See those paper dolls in our teachers' hands? We tried so hard to paint and decorate our "body" to show our new friends what we like and what type of person we are!
We demonstrated good listening and the value of Mutual Respect during the first Art class. Painting, brushes, and wiggle eyes helped us express emotions. Can you guess what does my emotional monster stands for?
We do enjoy playing outside. Look, how happy when we are riding bicycles , hanging like monkeys, treasuring hunting in the sand with our friends. How impressed when you see these little K1s playing with friends together.

Teachers were introducing essential agreements for PE with us. "We need to line up," "No pushing," "Wait patiently,"... We know how to play nicely!
We engaged in English learning through songs. With the relaxing rhythm of the song The Wheels On the Bus, we greeted different characters in the music video with Smile.
We are ready to have a wonderful year full of joy and a rich learning experience, and please feel proud of us; we have been doing great in the new school. We are looking forward to sharing more with you throughout the school year!
