Being able to join the PRC is not something that can be achieved overnight. It highly depends on the efforts of our PE teachers, the school's overall commitment to improving the physical health of students, and building a characteristic sports curriculum system aimed at providing students with a variety of internal and external competitions.
For example, over the duration of last semester, we successfully held NAS Sports Day, basketball and volleyball competitions between teachers and students, created the Morning Running Club and provided lots of House activities. Outside the school, we joined the ISBC league, where our senior students' basketball team had fierce competitions with other international school basketball teams. Our boys and girls in the lower grades also participated in a series of friendly football match with schools from around Shenzhen. On top of that, our students achieved wonderful results in the 5km running competition taking place on the Nord Anglia Global Campus platform!
In the future, to further provide students with more personalized sports development needs, NAS Shenzhen will also vigorously introduce different sports clubs and increase the time for sports activities. We will set up boy's and girl's basketball clubs, volleyball clubs, football clubs, tennis clubs, etc. All of this, to empower our students in finding fun and development direction in sports, and promote the coordinated development of youth cultural learning and physical exercise.
