INTRODUCTION
學生的發展包括三個領域:情感、行為和認知。情感領域是指一個人的情感發展,如愛、忠誠、同情、甚至愛國等。行為領域是指個人在行為方面的發展,如守時、有禮、守法等。認知領域通常意味著知識的豐富。我們學校致力於通過「兩賽一星」培養學生在這些領域的成長。
The development of student is comprised of three domains: affective, behavioural and cognitive. Affective domain refers to one’s emotional development like love, loyal, sympathetic, patriotic etc. Behavioural domain refers to one’s development in behaviour like, being punctual,courteous and abiding by law. Cognitive domain generally means the enrichment in one’s knowledge. Our school focuses on fostering student’s growth in these domains through ‘2 contests and 1 scheme’.

由於疫情的原因,原定於10月8日舉行的愛國歌曲比賽終於在10月17日成功舉行。我們希望通過紅歌可以讓學生更多地瞭解我們的革命先輩們建國時的艱難困苦,學會尊重他們的努力和成就,從而培養他們的愛國意識。
Finally, on 17th Oct., the patriotic song contest which was originally scheduled on 8th Oct. was successfully held. Through patriotic songs, students can understand more about the background of our ancestors in setting up the country and learn to appreciate their effort and achievement, hence developing their sense of patriotism.

行·課堂規範比賽
Class routine
abidance contest
比賽將於10月24日至11月9日持續進行,課堂行為規範對培養學生的學習精神和動力至關重要。如果課堂上沒有適當的行為,學習就不會有效率,「行成於思,毀於隨」。我們規定了課堂禮儀(如視頻),老師將在這兩週內給每堂課評分。讓我們看看最後哪一個班會拔得頭籌。
The contest will last from 24th Oct. 9th Nov. Class routine is important to raise student’s spirit and motivation to learn. Without proper behaviour in classroom, learning can’t be effective. The class routine is specified in the video below. Teacher will score every class in these two weeks. Let’s see which class will be the winner later.
知·閱讀之星計劃
Reading award scheme
閱讀無疑是獲取知識的最佳方法,也是自學的主要途徑。為了培養學生的閱讀習慣,我們學校推出了「閱讀之星」計劃。該計劃的週期為兩週。如果學生在兩週內閱讀兩本或兩本以上的書,就可以獲得證書。如果他們在2022年12月31日之前閱讀了16本或更多的書,就可以獲得獎盃。該計劃旨在培養他們的閱讀習慣,從而促進他們的認知發展。
Reading is undoubtedly the key way to acquire knowledge and is the cardinal way of self-study. To enhance student’s habit of reading, our school launches reading award scheme. The scheme is set at two weeks cycle. Student can get certificate if they read two or more books in two weeks. They can get trophy if they read sixteen or more books by 31st Dec. 2022. The scheme aims at boosting their reading habit and hence their cognitive development.
