In recent years, the Nature Programme has been gaining more and more attention from parents and is being introduced in more and more Pre schools. We are all aware, in one way or another, of the many advantages of the Nature Programme, understanding our connection to nature, exploring its mysteries, experiencing the secrets of living in harmony with nature and building a deeper connection with nature ......
BMH has the advantage of a large outdoor lawn of nearly 50,000 square metres and a well-established curriculum to make our Nature Programme a unique experience. Children and teachers enjoy the outdoor woods and real grass lawns, embracing nature and having a colourful childhood.
Our Forest Day meet fortnightly and each class moves the lessons into our woods, making the most of the lawn resources.
Our Forest Day is as much about enjoying the sunshine as it is about loving the rain, capturing the essence of the forest curriculum. We believe that harmony between humans and nature does not only exist under the breezy blue sky, but that rain, wind and thunder also develop children's physical conditioning and adaptability. We want to immerse our children in a wider world, opening their minds and bodies to a deeper relationship with nature.
That's why our children have a different experience, they learn to add and remove clothing according to the weather, to wear different protective clothing according to the weather, and they learn even more that if we persevere, we can see and experience the world in a different and exciting way.
In addition, we also bring art, PE and reading lessons to the outdoors. Our teachers all work with the children under the sky and acutely capturing every spiritual moment. Every piece we create on Forest Day is extraordinarily spiritual and fascinating!
Our lawn is not only a playground for the children, but has also become a very popular place for our Pre school parents and staff. Our PTA meetings, staff Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations, Back To School nights, Movie nights, Halloween activity, Sports days and the Inquiry unit have all been held here, and each event has become a memorable scene in our memories.
We are convinced that education is not confined to the forma. We cherish and care for the place that the lawn and woods have provided us with, making it a wonderful childhood memory in our children's lives. Years later, whenever we talk about our Pre school, we can always recall the fragrance of the grass, the chirping of the birds, the gentle breeze on our cheeks and the splash of the puddles on a rainy day ......
