On the afternoon of April 27th, Ms. Xiong Bo, school First Secretary, and Ms. Ella Ji, the Secretary of school Youth League Branch, organized S7 students, young teachers, and party member teachers to carry out the May Forth Youth Day themed activity of "Fun Frisbee, Sweating to Youth" on the BMH football field. Teachers and students running on the grass, shedding sweat, and passing on the positive energy of youth.
To ensure that everyone engages in healthy and safe exercise under standard guidance, and to enhance the sports experience of teachers and students, school PE teacher Mr. Yi Luo was specially invited to teach the essentials of Frisbee movement, and led teachers and students to familiarize themselves with the rules of Frisbee competition.
Subsequently, teachers and students did a series of warm-up games of pairs of Frisbee passing, Frisbee bowling, and Frisbee nine palace grid activity. Afterwards, the teacher-student team competition, which tests the spirit of teamwork got started. The S7 students actively participated in the competition, their tacit teamwork and spirit of fighting bravely, fearless of hardship and fatigue deeply infected all the teachers on site. Everyone felt real happiness in the free movement, and the joy of success in the burning sweat. Cheers and laughter filled the sky above the 7,140 square meter football field in BMH.

In order to carry forward the spirit of the “May Fourth”, sing the patriotic melody, and enhance the friendship between Bromsgrove School Mission Hills, Guanlan Central School, and Wenfeng Primary School.
On the evening of April 27th, Dr. Wall, the Executive Headmaster of BMH, was invited by the First Secretary, he led young teachers and party member representatives to participate in the "May Forth ‘Party Building Cup’ Three Schools Youth Staff Singing Competition” organized by Guanlan Central School. Our expat teacher Roohan sang the song 'Miracle' and he conquered all the audience on site with his melodious singing. Dr. Wall together with his family brought a performance full of artistic appeal, and the beautiful trio enchanted the audience. In the end, both groups of contestants won the grand prize.

The May Fourth Movement is an epoch-making event in China's modern history. Its spiritual core is patriotism, progress, democracy and science. In order to guide BMH children to inherit and carry forward the May Fourth spirit and strive to become aspiring youth in the new era.
On the morning of April 28th, Ms. Ella Ji, the Secretary of the school Youth League Branch, delivered a vivid ideological and political lesson to P6 students - "Inheriting the May Fourth Spirit and Composing the Youth with Struggle". Ms. Ella Ji’s class was conducted from four aspects: "the History of the May Fourth Movement", "the Spirit of the May Fourth Movement", "the Contemporary Embodiment of the May Fourth Spirit" and "How to Inherit the May Fourth spirit". During the class, the children were full of admiration for the young volunteers who bravely went to the front line of fighting against the pandemic, and felt proud of Quan Hongchan, who was 14 years old, for winning the Olympic gold medal... The strength of our motherland relies on the unremitting efforts of generations after generations, "Therefore, the present responsibility for today lies not with others, but all in our youth." Ms. Ella Ji encouraged the children to have the mind and ambition of "everyone is responsible for the country’s ups and downs”, “who else in the world is better than me”, and encouraged the children to strive hard and live up to their youth!
