The classroom is the main channel for education and teaching, and this semester will showcase various aspects of the school's classroom culture. The purpose of this activity is to address the doubts, difficulties, pains, and blind spots in daily teaching. Emphasizing the idea that "simple dishes nourish people" and "regular classes nurture people," the focus is on "ordinary classes" without unnecessary embellishments. The main criteria for judgment are practicality, pragmatism, implementation, and effectiveness. This aims to promote collective lesson preparation, refinement, reflection, and other teaching and research activities within subject groups, with the goal of forming Huamei's classroom culture.
From Lingering at a Low Position to Ranking First
At the beginning of the semester, President Deng's directive to "get into the learning state as quickly as possible" is still fresh in our minds. In the blink of an eye, we have reached the end of the semester, and how did the teaching, which is the school's "core business" and "main source of income," fare?
In the end-of-semester Grade 5 assessment by Jin'an Education Group, comprising 21 classes from several schools, Huamei Foreign Language School's Class 501 secured the top position in total scores, first in mathematics, second in English, and excelled in various other data metrics.
It's worth noting that in previous years, Huamei's performance in group assessments hasn't been very impressive.
Why such a dramatic change?

From Quality Awareness to Quality Action
A month ago, the school organized teachers from various subjects to carefully select review materials, sparking a fervor for emphasizing teaching quality.
As a result, during every break, one could see teachers guiding students, with morning study sessions starting earlier and evening study sessions extending later. Some students completed a week's worth of exercises in just one day.
It's not only about hard work but also smart work; not just sweat but also tears of joy. Teachers carefully selected questions, created intricate teaching materials, significantly improving teaching efficiency. Students deepened their understanding, expanded their knowledge, and elevated their skills through appropriately challenging exercises.
During the final exams, teachers didn't waste any spare time, racing against the clock to provide guidance to students. This not only improved academic performance but, more importantly, cultivated good study habits and created a strong learning atmosphere. Students began to find joy in learning, take pride in their studies, cherish every moment, develop themselves, and achieve success, making the most of their youth and time.
From Solo Operations to Team Collaboration
This winter break, the school has meticulously selected holiday assignments for the children, providing a detailed daily task list for each subject. Parents are encouraged to supervise and ensure that their children complete the assignments each day.
