2025年9月19日，深美外籍子女学校（SAIS）校长李梅受邀出席由联合国教科文组织主办的第十二届“和苑和平节”。

On September 22, 2025, Principal Li Mei of Shenzhen American International School (SAIS) was invited to attend the 12th “He Garden Peace Festival” hosted by UNESCO.

站在活动现场，李梅校长深受触动。从象征希望的和平鸽翱翔天际，到各国青年洋溢热情的表演，每一个瞬间都让我们铭记国际和平日的初心。自2002年起，每年9月21日便提醒世人：和平不仅是理想，更是需要共同践行的承诺。

At the event, Principal Li Mei was deeply moved. From doves of peace soaring across the sky to the vibrant performances of young people from around the world, every moment served as a reminder of the original intention of the International Day of Peace. Since 2002, September 21 has reminded us that peace is not only an ideal, but also a shared commitment that requires action.

今年的主题是 “携手丝绸之路，共建和平花园”。通过文化互鉴和青年交流，活动生动诠释了“人类命运共同体”的理念。李梅校长在发言中表示：

This year’s theme, “Hand in Hand Along the Silk Road, Building a Garden of Peace Together,” vividly embodied the vision of a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind through cultural exchange and youth dialogue. In her remarks, Principal Li Mei stated:

“让我们将今天的感动转化为行动，延续这份精神，把和平的种子带回到校园，培养学生成为心怀世界的未来公民。”“Let us transform today’s inspiration into action, carry forward this spirit, and bring the seeds of peace back to our campus—nurturing students to become future citizens with a heart for the world.”

作为一所秉持 “Empowering Future Leaders for a Borderless World” 愿景的学校，深美始终将全球公民意识、跨文化交流与和平价值观融入教育实践。我们相信，教育不仅塑造知识，更塑造责任与担当。
