When it comes to Dragon Boat Festival, everyone knows the traditional rites such as dragon boat racing and eating zongzi. While I believe that everyone has questions about the meaning of these kinds of festivals. Today, I’d like to explain the confusion hiding in your deep heart.

On the one hand, these activities give us a sense of ceremony in our ordinary lives. Customs give us something to look forward to, which light up our daily lives. We can have a gathering with our family during festivals as well as create special and unforgettable moments. These mark the passage of time and add meaning to our lifetime.

Take the Dragon Boat Festival as an example. People not only make and eat zongzi, but also hang mugwort leaves on their doors to ward off evil spirits and diseases. These behaviors both slow down and appreciate life and pass on warmth, decorating our lives.

On the other hand, these festivals give us an opportunity to connect with ancient civilizations. As we all know, Chinese culture is vast and profound. There is great value behind Chinese traditional culture waiting for us to explore. At this point, festivals become a channel for us to connect with ancient wisdom. While celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival in memory of the great poet Qu Yuan, people can understand what loyalty and patriotism truly mean.

尊敬的各位領導親愛的老師同學們：

大家早上好！

晨光正好，我們齊聚報告廳，莊嚴舉行本周升旗儀式。初夏時節，粽葉漸香，中華民族的傳統佳節——端午節即將到來。端午承載著千年民俗文化，寄託著家國情懷，掛艾草、佩香囊、賽龍舟、包粽子等傳統習俗，蘊含著團結拼搏、崇德向善的美好精神。傳承傳統節日文化，是我們每一位鯨帆學子的責任與擔當。

為豐富校園生活，讓大家沉浸式感受端午魅力，學校將在本週三18：30舉辦端午主題義賣集市活動。這是一場專屬老師同學們的文化趣味盛會，在此我號召全體師生積極主動、全員參與，走出課堂、親近傳統，在實踐體驗中感受傳統文化的獨特魅力。

本次集市共設有14個攤位，分別由各班級攤位及中英文科組和COOKING,藝術雜糅俱樂部攤位構成，同時設有一個聯課組禮品處，各攤位售賣端午文創、民俗配飾、娛樂項目，手工體驗，端午美食等多樣好物。在這裡提醒大家，參與活動請提前備好適量零錢，全程遵守活動秩序，文明選購、禮貌互動，展現我校學子的良好素養。

本次活動福利滿滿、驚喜十足！同學們在集市消費、參與攤位互動即可收集印章，積攢對應數量的印章，就能兌換精美小禮物，還能參與轉轉樂抽獎，超多驚喜盲盒等待大家，兌換地點在聯課組禮品處，同時提醒同學們，我們的所有攤位工作人員擁有小福利，可以免費領取小禮品和轉轉樂抽獎，具體印章規則都傅在印章紙上，老師同學均可參與。

小小的端午集市，是傳承文化的生動課堂，也是鍛煉自我、收穫快樂的平臺。希望同學們在享受趣味活動的同時，嚴守紀律、愛護設施、乾淨整潔，文明參與，互幫互助、有序體驗，在玩樂中學習，在實踐中成長。期待老師同學們積極參與本次活動，沉浸式體驗傳統民俗，度過一個充實、有趣、有意義的端午。
