"Beyond the Lines · Stretching Toward Tomorrow" — Sendelta Junior High’s graduation ceremony concluded warmly amid teachers’ and students’ best wishes. The Grade 8 graduates painted a stirring portrait of growth.

Heartwarming moments filled the 90-minute event, with confident young spirits shining on the modest stage. As lights came up and applause erupted, many parents and teachers teared up. They witnessed far more than three years passing: every student matured from timidity to resolve, from reliance to responsibility.

Here, their futures stretch endlessly forward.

As the national flag rose, the whole audience stood in solemn silence. Students and faculty sang the national anthem together.

"Discernment，Commitment" is the core value embedded in Sendelta’s junior high education. It takes shape through Chinese lessons, traditional cultural programs, reverence for the homeland and exploration of the world.

Principal Xu Shenggui shared three pieces of advice for the junior high graduates on behalf of the school:

Stay grounded amid shifts and embrace growth while upholding your inner principles.

Set clear plans to orient yourself and pursue goals with steady action.

Adapt calmly to diverse environments, and boldly voice your thoughts and demonstrate your value.

Genuine growth is not living up to others’ expectations, but retaining a clear sense of self and original aspiration amid a complex world, with the courage to live a distinctive life.

Junior high teachers compiled a 15-minute video of parents’ blessings, capturing three years of profound emotions. Parents expressed amazement at their children’s transformation from shy to confident, pride in their independent thinking and willingness to take responsibility, and sincere hopes for their future, every word filled with love and anticipation.

Then the parent representative, Student Zhu’s father, stepped onto the stage to talk movingly about his child’s growth at Sendelta and expectations for senior high school.

Afterwards, all M3 students bowed deeply to their parents. Their silent gratitude carried immense weight.

Strong roots nurture lush foliage; love for one’s homeland grants fearless wings. These students may travel across the globe one day, yet knowing where they come from empowers them to forge ahead resolutely.

Amid solemn, gentle music, the certificate awarding ceremony commenced. Assistant Principal Liu presented graduation diplomas to every M3 student one by one. More than mere proof of academic completion, these certificates stand as formal recognition of three years of diligence, exploration and growth, shining milestones on their youthful journeys.

Pride and joy sparkled in the students’ eyes as they received their diplomas with both hands—they knew they had truly matured.

Junior high teachers produced a heartfelt tribute video brimming with pride and well wishes for the graduates. They then joined hands to sing Cheers. Many parents in the audience hummed along, eyes glistening with emotion.

This song was a love letter set to melody: dedicated to every student who took their time to bloom, every minor misstep met with grace, and every creative idea listened to with care.

During the tribute to teachers, students handed bouquets to every educator, many slipping handwritten notes that read, "Thank you for all you’ve done."

At the handover ceremony between junior and senior homeroom teachers, junior advisors passed over a painting imprinted with fingerprints from the entire grade. Each fingerprint marks a unique life, and each handover embodies a solemn trust in education.

"They deserve to be cherished always."

"We will honor this trust fully."

This brief exchange spoke volumes. At Sendelta, every student is wholeheartedly supported, free to grow with the same sense of safety they feel at home.

Underclassmen from M1 and M2 presented blessings through dance and songs.

All M3 students staged an original shadow play Our Story in Lights and Shadow.

Shadows shifted across the screen:

The shy boy who once dared not raise his hand now speaks confidently at Model UN conferences;

The quiet girl who used to hide in corners found the courage to express herself in drama club;

They debated in labs, raced on sports fields, and strived side by side on research projects…

At the end, all silhouettes merged to form one line: "We grew together."

Student representative Kerwin Liu Ennan delivered a speech in fluent English: "As students of Sendelta, we have been encouraged to think independently, stay curious, and embrace different perspectives. We learned that education is not only about achieving good grades but also about becoming responsible individuals who can make a positive contribution to society."

His voice was clear and resolute, drawing constant nods from parents in the audience — this is exactly who they hope their children will become.

As the ceremony drew to a close, sunlight spilled gently over the campus lawns.

The M3 graduates laughed and hugged their teachers, took group photos, and teased one another, saying, “See you in senior high!”

Their faces shone with the clarity and resolve unique to youth.

This 90-minute ceremony was deeply touching for one simple reason:

it laid bare a true truth of Sendelta Junior High — students gain far more than knowledge. They learn how to be upright individuals: optimistic, confident, thoughtful, and compassionate.
