Sendelta International Junior High School covers Grade 6 to Grade 8, a three-year programme. It adopts an integrated curriculum combining AP Preparatory and A-Level Preparatory courses. This system enables seamless transition to AP or A-Level programmes in senior high school and fully unlocks students’ academic potential.

Guided by its educational philosophy of “parallel development of English proficiency and interdisciplinary thinking”, the division delivers a curriculum covering all core subjects. Besides, it prioritises the cultivation of students’ English reading skills, artistic literacy and physical capability, enabling students to pursue Academic excellence, joyful growth, and sustainable development through balanced academic and extracurricular engagement.

Teaching focuses on core knowledge and competencies of key subjects, helping students build interdisciplinary awareness. This is instrumental in fostering critical thinking and deepening subject understanding. Meanwhile, the school believes language proficiency should not hinder students’ academic learning. Therefore, an in-house English support programme featuring ESL courses is offered to gradually improve students’ linguistic ability, supporting their subject learning and future overseas study plans.

The Sendelta AP High School Division strengthens English proficiency training, critical thinking practice and liberal arts education. It offers 30 AP and post-AP courses, including two AP Capstone Diploma programs. The breadth of course offerings and high teaching quality have won wide recognition from universities and peer institutions.

Drawing on fifteen years of established experience delivering AP programs, the division has built a systematic and refined curriculum management framework. It helps students design personalized academic pathways and maximize their strengths in specific subjects.

The AP Division prioritizes three core competencies for students: self-regulation and self-management, communication skills, and multitasking capabilities. With guidance from distinguished teachers, diverse teaching approaches — lectures, practical sessions, group discussions, laboratory experiments and case studies — together with abundant coursework and project-based practice, effectively stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning and nurture their spirit of academic inquiry.

The UK-track high school program at Sendelta, namely the Sendelta A-Level Division, was established to accommodate varied educational objectives and university destinations, as well as students’ needs for personal growth and competency development. It leverages the long-standing experience of Shenzhen Experimental School’s international program in placing students at top British universities. The division delivers a full progressive training system spanning foundational Pre-IG courses to advanced A2-level study across Grade 8 to Grade 12.

In addition, the division adheres to flexible course arrangements. Courses will open once the minimum enrollment threshold is met. This framework fully respects students’ interests and strengths, enabling personalized course selection that helps each student build on their advantages. Students may choose to pursue advanced academic challenges: rigorous training prepares them for university-level foundational subjects targeted at Oxford, Cambridge and the University of Hong Kong, alongside advanced courses such as World History, European History, English Language and Literature, and Capstone research seminars for applications to world-leading universities including Oxford and Cambridge. Alternatively, students can reduce pressure from non-core subjects and focus on key disciplines to meet university admission requirements.

Sendelta Liberal Arts Program is an elite division carefully developed by Sendelta. Breaking rigid, one-size-fits-all training models, the division builds a comprehensive school-based curriculum covering English, specialized sports, arts, financial literacy, and STEM research and innovation, while supporting students to grow happily.

Students receive ample English instruction to strengthen their language ability within an immersive environment. Specialized golf and fencing classes help them build fitness and cultivate poise. Customized music, art and interdisciplinary drama courses improve their aesthetic awareness and practical capabilities. Through PBL (Project-Based Learning), students gain foundational financial literacy. General computer courses and hands-on engineering research projects further equip students with innovation and technology skills. Supported by diverse featured courses, students elevate their comprehensive literacy and personal abilities while pursuing their passions.

Notably, Sendelta is the exclusive officially authorized partner high school in Shenzhen for the UC Davis GAPP Junior (with CPE) Program. Eligible students can take transferable college credit courses, advance directly into the UCD GAPP (with CPE) undergraduate bridge program, and achieve seamless progression to top University of California campuses. Participants are provided with a reliable alternative pathway for university admission.

The Sendelta Arts & Sports Center undertakes the mission of delivering arts, music and physical education to all students, and supporting artistically, musically and athletically talented students to pursue diversified university pathways.

The Arts Division of the center aims to cultivate innovative artistic talents. It guides students to understand, experience and create art from fresh perspectives. We nurture artistic elites with broad interests, sharp insight into social issues, strong practical skills and innovative minds. Students are supported to express themselves through visual works that meet the admission requirements of top art institutions.

Guided by the mission of discovering athletic talents and offering all-round support, the Sports Division helps students secure offers from prestigious universities with their athletic strengths. It now recruits talented athletes in golf, fencing, basketball and other sports.

To accommodate flexible study schedules required by competitions and daily training, we provide personalized one-on-one or small-group course solutions and help each student develop a tailored university admission plan.

Beyond its comprehensive tiered curriculum system, the school’s dedicated SIA Research and Innovation Center and College Counseling Center offer full support for students’ academic advancement, research empowerment and elite university admission.

As the first international school nationwide to establish a research and innovation center, research-driven education serves as Sendelta’s most distinctive educational hallmark. It provides end-to-end guidance ranging from basic practical training and cutting-edge research to various science and innovation competitions. Even students with zero prior experience can steadily build research experience, produce competitive achievements and develop unique highlights for university applications.

The Sendelta College Counseling Center boasts an experienced faculty. All senior counselors hold degrees from prestigious overseas universities and possess 7–10 years of hands-on experience in college planning, delivering one-stop, full-cycle customized admission services for students.

Each student is assigned a dedicated college counselor upon enrollment. Services include at least one 1-on-1 planning session every semester, systematic college counseling courses, application-season guidance, offline seminars hosted by admissions officers from top global universities, exclusive parent counseling meetings and more. Counselors design personalized admission pathways covering academics, competency development, critical thinking and long-term career prospects.
