深圳梅沙双语学校在义务段国家课程标准的基础上,结合学校丰富的双语教学经验与资源,形成了具有梅双特色的双语创新融合课程。
在校刊《鲲鹏志》中的“学习思考”专栏里,收录了MBS老师们的学术研讨文章与特色融合课程设计教案。本期的融合课程专题,我们将展示英语科组彭老师的英语作业设计,一起来看看她为MBSer精心准备的特色英语作业吧!
作业设计理念
牛津版深圳英语第三单元的主题为地球,作业设计部分为写作部分。
本单元旨在通过了解如今严峻的环境问题,培养学生保护环境的意识,并能为环境保护做出自身的贡献。
本单元的作业设计目标分别为:情感态度目标,语言目标,差异化以及其他的小目标。
在情感态度上面,学生们通过思考保护环境的措施,反思自身不环保的行为,以及个人所能对环境保护所做的贡献。在语言技巧上,本单元要求学生们掌握There be句型,能够用此句型造句,例如用于表达存在的问题。
此外,学生们还应该掌握海报的三要素,通过理解和掌握三要素,锻炼学生的逻辑思维能力,使得写作更加流畅,文章结构更加清晰。
在差异化上,由于学生们之间的英语水平各异,也为了鼓励大家都积极完成作业,团队合作完成海报作业给予了每个学生参与的机会,一些学生可以负责贡献更多的想法,一些负责海报设计,一些负责英语翻译,一些负责语法检查等等。
海报设计作业是一个团队项目,因此还能锻炼学生的思辨能力,团队协作能力,领导力,激发学生对英语的兴趣,以及信息搜索能力。
作业评价分为两部分:老师评分和学生互评。老师评分的维度分别为内容完整度,海报三要素,语法以及逻辑。学生互评维度分为海报设计前后的学生参与度,贡献度以及团队协调能力。
作业评价分为两部分是为了能够更加全面,综合的评价学生作业,老师评价是对学生作业最终成果的评分,而学生互评则能够展示学生们完成作业的认真度,并且鼓励学生们积极参与,在团队协作的过程中学习更多,而不仅限于书本知识。

The rationale behind the rubric:
The reason for setting two rubrics is to ensure that the teacher can have a more comprehensive picture of students’ efforts and to foster fairness. The submitted posters represent students' hard effort but also measure students' understanding of the topic. Students must fully understand the assignment's instructions; that is to say, they must ensure that all required elements are presented in the poster. This is an excellent way to remind students to always pay attention to the question and stick to the requirements. Babels are something students will unintentionally neglect. By asking them to pay extra attention to this element, it helps them design better posters. Graphics, grammar, and logic are three elements of a good poster. By evaluating these three aspects, students further understand what a good sign consists of. Lastly, assessing a poster's attractiveness helps stimulate students’ creativity and innovativeness.
Sometimes it is tough for teachers to know how students approach their work and see the whole picture. Some students may be reluctant to participate in group work but still get the same grades as their teammates because the teacher fails to recognize that each student devotes a different amount of effort and time to the group work. It is unfair to neglect the fact that some students will take a free ride, and not correcting this wrongdoing will demotivate other hardworking students from working harder in the future. Thus letting the group members evaluate each other is necessary.
