Education transcends campus walls, and growth is a journey we share side by side.

Dressed in graduation gowns, the graduates set off from the 5th floor of the International Building, walked through the corridors and finally arrived at the library. This familiar route took on a brand-new meaning. It was no longer just a path on campus, but a moving farewell and an emotional bond across all grade levels.

Along the way, younger students from ISA Wuhan International School and ISA Wenhua Wuhan School lined up voluntarily, waving hand-drawn posters. Their cheers were filled with sincere respect and best wishes. At this moment, the divides between different school divs faded away, and the whole campus became one united educational community. Everyone here felt seen and cherished.

The cherry tree planting ceremony in front of the library concluded the campus parade and opened a brand-new chapter.

A memorial stone inscribed with "Gratitude and New Journeys — In memory of the Class of 2026" was placed in solemn ceremony. Parents, teachers and students worked together to fill the soil, embedding the philosophy of "Rooted locally, embracing the world" deep into the ground. This tree stands not only as a spiritual symbol reaching out to the wider world, but also marks a lasting tradition at ISA Wuhan. In the years to come, a flourishing cherry blossom grove will take shape here, witnessing the growth of generations of students.

As the tree thrives, so do the young minds. This enduring vitality across time is the very spiritual foundation ISA Wuhan strives to instill in every student.

As afternoon fell and the lights dimmed, only a spotlight shone at the center of the stage. The Grand Theatre became a sacred place witnessing the transformation of every graduate.

The atmosphere was solemn yet full of anticipation. Footages of growth played on the big screen, presenting every smiling face vividly before us.

Dr. Juliana Jia, Head of ISA Wuhan Campus, looked back fondly on the three years of shared growth between the Class of 2026 and the school in her address. The students claimed the only global awards of the Yau Shing-Tung Science Competition in Central China for two consecutive years. They also secured Central China’s first admission offer from the California Institute of Technology and ISA Wuhan’s first offer from the University of Cambridge, majoring in Mathematics. With these remarkable milestones, she commended the honors the graduates had brought to ISA Wuhan and the whole of Central China.

To these young people about to embark on new journeys, Dr. Jia offered sincere and practical wishes. In an era full of uncertainties, she hoped they would stay brave in the face of setbacks, remain grateful, keep the drive to move forward, hold a passion for exploring the unknown, and uphold kindness that is gentle yet firm. She encouraged them not merely to adapt to the world, but to strive to make it a better place and become truly valuable individuals.

The tassel-turning and certificate presentation segment forms the heart of the entire ceremony. As Mr. Shen called each graduate’s name, the large screen displayed admission offers from top universities, a testament to every student’s hard work and growth over three years.

Dr. Juliana Jia, Principal Mahesh, Vice Principal Rachael Zhou and Principal Li Junbiao personally handed out diplomas and performed the tassel-turning ritual for the graduates. As the weighty certificates were passed into students’ hands and the tassels shifted from right to left, this age-old academic tradition carried far greater meaning: it represented educators’ trust and entrustment. We believe you are fully ready to take on your responsibilities and embrace the complexity and diversity of the wider world.

It is often said that a school’s stature lies not in how tall its buildings stand, but in how far its students can go.

Thomas Sun is the only student in Hubei Province to reach the global final of the Yau Shing-Tung Science Award and claim the Silver Medal in Mathematics, making him the student who has gone further academically than any other in Hubei to date.

He earned Central China’s first-ever undergraduate offer from the California Institute of Technology, a world-renowned elite university famed for its rigorous admissions. For the first time, this prestigious institution extended an offer to a student from Central China.

He also received ISA Wuhan’s inaugural offer from the University of Cambridge’s Department of Mathematics. Home to some of humanity’s greatest scientific thinkers, this world-class faculty now bears the name of an ISA Wuhan graduate.

His achievements prove that ISA Wuhan fully empowers students to reach the world’s most prestigious institutions.

That is the true meaning of the Distinguished Graduate Award. It is not merely a prize for top exam scores, nor a trophy to flaunt university admissions. It signifies that one student’s journey maps out boundless possibilities for those who follow; his accomplishments speak volumes about the heights ISA Wuhan students are capable of reaching.

Starting with the Class of 2026, the Distinguished Graduate Award will become an enduring tradition, a core part of campus culture, and a source of inspiration passed down through every graduating cohort. In the years ahead, each new group of students walking through our campus gates will know this story:

As night fell, the lights of Fairmont Hotel lit up, setting a warm backdrop for this graduation story.

Teachers and mentors lined both sides of the red carpet to welcome graduates, who walked slowly arm in arm with their parents. At this ritual-filled coming-of-age ceremony, the poise and composure cultivated at ISA Wuhan shone even brighter. Every conversation and attentive listening naturally reflected their years of growth.

Soft melodies filled the banquet hall, and a graduation montage brought back warm memories. Teachers and parents offered sincere wishes. Amid toasts and gentle chatter, the young graduates experienced a preview of life as full-fledged members of society.
