New York becomes home to many SIS alum as their university destination. With the attraction of living in a dynamic urban environment, the quality programs they enter help foster their ambitions and skills. In New York for an international educational conference Mr. Kanabar, HOS, and Paula Brunning, Alumni Relations, caught up with two alum who are both currently at New York University.
Richie Li studied at SIS for two and a half years before moving to complete his high school elsewhere. Despite not graduating as a gecko, Richie recalls his time at SIS fondly and continues to keep in touch with the many friends he made there. Planning to graduate at the end of this semester, Richie is currently a senior studying Film in NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. We wish Richie’s film making plans great success!
Jimmy Ching is an SIS Class of 2020 alum who studies at NYU’s Clyde Davis Institute of Recorded Music in the Tisch School of the Arts. Completing his studies by the end of 2024, Jimmy is exploring the options this diverse industry offers including his own recordings.
